He was pretty much unknown when the Denver Broncos selected him in the sixth round of the 1995 NFL Draft, but it didn't take long before Terrell Davis became one of the league's biggest stars. First, he became the lowest drafted player to rush for 1,000 yards in his rookie season. Next, he rushed for 1,000 yards in each of his first four seasons, including a monster 2,008 yard campaign that earned him 1998 NFL MVP honors. That outburst was the fourth highest single season rushing total in league history and came on the heels of his memorable MVP performance in Super Bowl XXXII, where he rushed for 157 yards and three scores to help Denver to its first NFL championship.
